Yesterday I sit in Mikeys room they don't have tv's in the icu so I brought my little pocket held tv so he could hear the race. I wish he would wake up! I sit there and cried why the race was on hell I don't even know who won. We use 2 cuddle up on the bed and watch the race it was our thing 2 do. I thought bringin in the tv was what he would want. Both my Moms made me come home last night I have got 2 know Mikeys Mom very well and she is such a sweet lady. She said at first when Mikey told her she didn't know what 2 think but she said now she can tell how much I love her boy and how happy he is 2 be with me. Ok the tears are just coming down now I just wanted 2 let ya'll know there is no change in Mikey. It's a wait and see thing now and that is just killing me. He's in a coma and they tell me that's a good thing right now but I don't understand that. His Mom is here with us. I can't say thanx enough for the love and support ya'll are giving me right now. I am trying 2 stay strong right now but I feel I am gonna blow at any moment. I just don't know what 2 do and I got this headache I can't get rid of. They made me come home last night my Mom stayed with him and Dad is getting ready 2 take me back up. I just wanted 2 post something I know u guys r checking in everyday waiting on me sorry I haven't gave ya'll an update b4 now. Please keep praying for Mikey!
One other thing normally I wouldn't say anything but I am pissed and Mikey normally takes care of the comments b4 I can see them and I don't know how 2 go into and delete the comment coz it's in his name. Shirley you fucking cunt I make you a promise here in black and white when MY BOYFRIEND gets better I am coming for you and what you stand for. I see in the papers and TV what you sick fucks do and I am tired of it. You think you know all about hell let me tell you something bitch you anit see hell until you seen this fag all worked up and you pushed the right button and now I am worked up. My Dad will be on your ass so go back and get ready coz I am gonna show you about hell fire and brimstone!

So please pray 4 him and I will update u as soon as I can.
Please Pray 4 my Mikey.
I know we all seen the video and the photos of the killer and a part of me feels sorry for him and his family but there was help there he didn't seek it but decided to take another route. It makes me sick that he is getting all this media attention I know people want to know what was going on in his head put in all we really will never know other that he was a loose cannon and he went off. Trust me I know there is help I had to seek it myself and I take my meds for it. I never wanted to hurt anyone but myself but there is help if the person seeks it. Again this is not about me and sure and the hell not gonna be about the killer I feel really sad at this but I feel media should give him less time and more time to the victims and there friends and family. So I am gonna start right here on this blog and give them some time we should take the time and read all we can about them. May they never be forgotten!

I just came from an important press conference with Senator Kennedy and Senator Smith where they announced that they have renamed the
The Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act (LLEHCPA) with the
"Matthew Shepard Bill" in honor of my son, Matthew. This is a very important day for me and for all Americans.
There is still a lot of work to be done! I am asking for your help in working to pass this bill which will prove to be one of the most essential pieces of Federal anti-hate legislation to date.
The
Matthew Shepard Bill marks a very critical moment for erasing hate in our society. Although it is long overdue, this is one of the most essential building blocks to ensuring that we all have equal rights as Americans.
This Action Alert is made up of four very important actions that are necessary for us to create a strong voice on
ERASING HATE. Whether it is for Matthew or for the thousand of victims of other violent hate crimes that have taken place over the years, I urge everyone to make the passage of this bill a top priority.
1) Be sure to be well
educated on the bill
2)
Sign the Petition3) Pass it on to everyone you know by using the
Erase Hate Petition E-Card 4) Contact your leaders including your
Representatives, Senators and the
President Thank you so much for your help in Replacing Hate with Understanding, Compassion & Acceptance!
Judy Shepard
I got an email from Judy last night and I wanted to put it on here so we can help her help us so please take the time and sign the petition.
Thanks Ryan

Later from Atlanta soon 2 be Tampa!
I can't believe spring is already here. Of course that means baseball season has started seems like just the other day the World Series was ending. I'm a big Atlanta Braves fan when it comes to baseball and no its not because it happens to be where Ryan is from. Growing up in my little town in West Virginia you had two choices when it come to baseball on TV, the Cincinnati Reds or the Pittsburgh Pirates. I don’t mean to offend anybody in those cities but I cant stand either of those teams maybe cause they were forced on me. Then there was the super station from Atlanta that carried the Braves games and that’s where I got to liking them. The past few years though they have been showing less games. Last year Ryan took me to a couple of their games which was a big thrill for me. Never in my life did I ever think I would be going to Braves games when I look back and think about the little town I grew up in. Friday night is their first home game to open the season their playing the Mets and me and Ryan and his family are going. They have season tickets and great seats behind the homeplate which is really cool. They won their first game the other day so they are off to a good start. Last year they sucked and the big problem they had was the relief pitching. They scored plenty of runs but couldn't hold a lead after the starting pitcher left. This year they have a better bullpen so I think their gonna do a lot better. Now I think Ill go play my own little game since I can see my boys bat is standing at the ready in the on deck circle;)
Sometimes when I am reading the news I just have 2 ask wtf? With all going on in the world we have stupid parents putting there kids life in danger for money. In Taylor Michigan a mother tried to sell her 7 year old daughter for sex. Thank God it was 2 the police and they arrested her and took that girl away along with her siblings. You have 2 read this story it's just wow wtf is this women thinking? I have 2 say this I hope the throw the book at her and she never gets them kids back!
