He used to decorate the outside each year for Christmas. One night, when I was coming in from work, I heard the other next door neighbor's kid say to his father, "Look at the red lights, Dad. That's so gay." He was talking about my gay neighbor's decorations. I never told my gay neighbor this, but I was so pissed I sold the townhouse in spring and moved somewhere else. I figured that wasn't a neighborhood I wanted to live in.ryan fieldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13361694356025572544noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16273390.post-67541042375323151772009-12-08T18:03:44.628-05:002009-12-08T18:03:44.628-05:00So glad to hear you like your job sweetie and I ha...So glad to hear you like your job sweetie and I had no doubts you would do great from the start!

As for the person making the comment, well i'd like to say it was a joke as he has a twisted sense of humor and you never know WHAT he will say but sadly I don't know.
I know I have said something to my young nieces/nephews who had a bad habit of saying "that's so gay". They quickly realized it was the WRONG thing to say and why.
I am trying my best to teach Maddie love, acceptance or at least tolerance for all.
It's a tough row to hoe sometimes!
Hugs!!!Monogram Queenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00201245389134780751noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16273390.post-1442139667761203642009-12-08T16:49:16.265-05:002009-12-08T16:49:16.265-05:00I'm so glad you're loving the job

He picked out a bright pair of Nike's that he liked and his mother said real loud, "those are too Gay put them back now!" Others in the store snickered. It made me feel like doggie dodo. I wish we lived in a free country where everybody is treated equal. edAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16273390.post-56773744032952213662009-12-08T10:18:27.680-05:002009-12-08T10:18:27.680-05:00Glad you're liking the new job.
