Safe sex we hear about it all the time HIV testing most clubs here in Florida have signs up and like the club I go the Flamingo Resort they have a place right there where you can get tested. The truth is as gay men we don't like to think about it we don't like to think it could happen to us. I personally know of a few people living with hiv/aids and know 1 that has died from it. I did a piece on a porn star that I just was totally in love with that died from it and he wasn't much older than me. See I think like most gay men my age we think it just won't happen to us and honest like I said before we just don't want to think about it at all.
But as you can see in the report below we need to think about it we need to get tested more than anything we need to practice safe sex. I am guilty as many of you of having unprotected sex. I'm not going to sit here and lie to any of you I have had unprotected sex and regret it thank God I didn't catch anything but I could have very easy. A few years ago as many of you know I had a drinking problem and when I was drinking oh sex was so much fun a took a car wreck and a fake knee and a few days in jail to make me wake up. When I got passed that I had to worry if I caught anything so far its all good but I took that chance and I was stupid.
Look people don't take a gamble with your life we only get one shot so don't fuck up for a roll in the hay. Wrap it up if your gonna take or give it ok and if you haven't do it start now and please go get tested a lot of place do it for free.

One in five sexually active gay and bisexual men has the AIDS virus, and nearly half of those don't know they are infected, a federal study of 21 U.S. cities shows.
Experts said the findings are similar to earlier research, but the study released Thursday is the largest to look at gay and bisexual U.S. men at high risk for HIV. More than 8,000 men were tested and interviewed, and 44 percent of those who had the virus didn't know they had it.
Overall, less than half of 1 percent of Americans have the AIDS virus, according to a calculation by the Kaiser Family Foundation, a research and policy organization in Washington, D.C.
