I do it for the love of animals the fact no matter how bad they are treated they still want to show love. I feel my calling was to work at this shelter and I would do it for free. What is unconditional love? Look at your dog or cat and you will find your answer!

Ryan, this is so true. A friend was telling me the other night about some stuff that had happened to him and I was crying because of it. Well Tinker ws sitting in my lap and she heard me crying and got up and started giving me kisses. Made me feel so much better. So, how can I ever turn my back on any animal when they are in need, I can't do it. Thank you for being you, never change.
They always seem to know when you are in pain and come over to help. I don't know what I would do if I did not have my cat. a pet is like one of your best friends.
I agree: dogs and cats are wonderful. It's great that you can do work that you love doing.

Absolutely, Ryan! Both my dogs were rescued dogs, one off the street and one from a shelter. I've also rescued one cat, and gotten another from a shelter. Best animals in the world!!! No reason in the world to pay big bucks for some pieces of paper attached to an animal that makes them some kind of "official".

You are so awesome Ryan for the work you do at the shelter...I love all animals & can't stand to see them abused or abandoned. I just had to have my cat Lucky put to sleep 3 weeks ago because he developed a tumor behind the eyes & there was nothing that could be done for him...he when totally blind in the last two weeks I had him and it was starting to affect his brain too...he couldn't eat at all for the last couple days.
He was a stray & about a year old when he came to me and he was the best cat ever...always slept with me and followed me around like a puppy and I miss him like crazy...it was the hardest thing I ever had to do.
Pets are amazing in the unconditional love they give us & they deserve all the love we can give back to them.

@Jason K...Sorry to hear about your cat. You should think about getting another one. It's impossible to be depressed with a kitten around.
VERY CUTE, BUT YOU SHOULD SAY JUST LOOK AT YOUR PET. BECAUSE SOME OF US HAVE OTHER PETS NOT DOG OR CAT, NOT THAT I DONT WANT A DOG TOO CUZ I DO JUST SAYING DONT DISCRIM ON THE OTHER ANIMALS.
