Some Good News

I had just came back into Tyler's room from getting some fresh air. The doctors decided this morning that it was time for him to wake up so they stop giving him the meds that were making him sleep. They said we could start trying to talk with him telling him to wake up. We tired all morning but he wasn't waking up. When I came back into his room after taking a break I took his hand and said Tyler you better wake the hell up or I'm going back to Florida! He squeezed my hand I just about fainted I look up at him and he was looking at me. He's Awake!!!! This is great news I know it's a small step but it's a step. He can't talk has tube's in his mouth but he is awake. I didn't want to leave him today but we did sit up a schedule so we all could get a break and get some rest. I know Mom sit this up mainly for me she knew I wouldn't leave.

I so didn't want to leave this afternoon but she made me. I told Ty I would be back very soon and he squeezed my hand so I think he understands. I made sure he knew I was only going to rest and not going home to Florida. Kadin is on his way here he's bringing my dogs to me. They don't eat well when I'm not around. Kadin can only stay a couple days they won't let him off work. I know it's a small step with Ty but it's a step. He has a long road ahead of him but in time he will be as good as new. I want ya'll to know I have all your emails that you sent Ty and I am going to read them to him when I go back. I know he will enjoy them and will be happy that ya'll care so much for him. From me personally thank ya'll that sent me emails that left comments and posted that pic on your website & blogs it shows me that there are good people in the world and I can call them friends.

Shawn & Danny I got your emails and yes I have spots open for advertising. I'm sorry I can't get back to you right now. I will try to next week right now all my focus is on my family right now.

Glad everything is getting better, Ryan. I went through the breathing tube and ventilator thing with someone in my family a few years back, and I know how frustrated they get when they can't talk. Maybe the hospital can give you a board he can write on. If he can't write, at least an alphabet chart where he can point to numbers and letters to spell out basic words so he can communicate with you. The hard part is they want to talk and can't. But don't push the poor boy.

Give him a hug for me. Here's one for you. And I hope your mother is getting some rest. The shock alone can wipe a person out.

PS: When I went through this with my family member, someone I know used to light this candle from Our Lady of Guadeloupe every night. When things got better, she gave me the candle and now I keep it near my fireplace in the kitchen all the time. So I'll light a candle tonight for Ty.

I'm so glad to hear that Ty is doing better. I haven't been following your blogs for long, but I've been sending good thoughts and my prayers your direction.

It's important to have a schedule like your mom set up. The family members need to take care of themselves as well - it does no good if someone else ends up sick and in the hospital alongside Ty.

    Ryan,

I'm so glad that Tyler is waking up...

Today was the first time I saw your posts about something happening to him...

You are where you need to be, by his side and he needs you more than any of your blog buddies, texting friends, etc. and I'm sure they all understand the lack of communication..

I'll be thinking about you and your family, and hope he continues to get better, so we can get you back to FL... at least its finally warming up again so it should be nice and toasty when you get back, so you can have some naked adventures...

    TTYL,
    Matt

The need is Ryan and his family(father)don't want Tyler's condition or accident discussed in to much detail for the moment.

Now Anonymous heres the part where you comment back and say "If thats the case then it never should have been mentioned in the first place blah blah blah whatever."

Anonymous commenters always piss me off trying to start shit from behind a computer screen. Sign your name the next time or move the fuck on.

Mike(same Mike who made the original post about the accident)
